Welcome to the PGS

RIP King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand
1927 - 2016

The Pattaya Golf Society is Pattaya's oldest golf society and ranks as one of the most popular golf groups in Pattaya with competitions arrAnged three times each week. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we play competitions which are either stableford or medal based, in two flights, according to the handicaps of those involved. In addition we hold two Order of Merit events each month and the Society's annual Player of the Year is thus chosen. The Pattaya Golf Society is affiliated to the International Pattaya Golf Club (IPGC). Members comprise of long term residents and holidaymakers alike, and all are welcome, regardless of gender, age or handicap. Every month we play a selection of the twenty-plus unique courses available in the area.

The PGS "clubhouse" is The Links Bar, situated in Soi Buakhao, to the south, near the market. It is the home of the IPGC Pattaya Golf Society.

Visiting Groups

The PGS is pleased to welcome visiting golf groups/societies from anywhere in the world and our experienced organisers will create an appropriate golf programme, including airport transfers, golf course discounts, even accomodation, for the group's stay in Pattaya, What could be easier?

There are currently 1043 IPGC members who have joined IPGC through the Pattaya Golf Society since 2000.

In 2015, the Pattaya Golf Society members played 3150 competition rounds, generating more than six million baht (more than £120,000) for the local golf "industry".

Returning Members with club handicaps outside Thailand

On returning to the PGS after a stay of more than a month outside Thailand, returning Members must provide confirmation of their current domestic CONGU/GA handicap, supported by their full playing record of all qualifying rounds played at their home club or elsewhere since their last competition round played with IPGC. This information should be easily obtainable either directly through your club officials or online. This will help to keep your IPGC CONGU handicap record in line with your domestic one and to facilitate the IPGC annual handicap review process.

Where returning members have benefitted from a handicap revision at their home club based on an annual review process rather than on performance in qualifying rounds played, this revision will not reflected in the returning player's IPGC CONGU handicap unless and until the reasons for the adjustment have been communicated and reviewed by the IPGC handicap committee. Their recommendation/decision on any adjustment to the player's IPGC handicap will take into acccount the player's past playing record in IPGC competitions as well as any other evidence put forward to support a revision.
