Banglamung Red Cross Branch Visits Vulnerable Communities in Huay Yai for 2025 Aid Program

Huay Yai, Chonburi – On May 20th, 2025, the Banglamung District Red Cross Branch, led by President Ms. Primtrita Srithanyanon, along with its members, conducted a community outreach program in Huay Yai, Banglamung District, Chonburi Province. The initiative was joined by local leaders, including village headmen, representatives from Chak Ngaew Health Promoting Hospital, Huay Yai community health volunteers, and other relevant officials.

The visit was part of the 2025 Red Cross Joint Assistance Project, aimed at supporting unaccompanied elderly individuals, disadvantaged groups, the impoverished, people with disabilities, patients, homeless individuals, and underprivileged children and youth. The team visited 10 households across villages 7 to 10 in Huay Yai, providing encouragement, essential household and food supplies, and financial aid of 2,000 baht per recipient.

The project seeks to alleviate immediate hardships, offer support to bedridden patients, the elderly, and disadvantaged youth, and address their needs through direct engagement. It also provides guidance on caregiving practices for bedridden patients, in line with the Red Cross Branch’s ongoing commitment to community welfare.
