Pattaya, Thailand – On May 23rd, 2025, at approximately 3:36 AM, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit received a report of an assault with injuries in Soi Phothisan 8 in the Nakula Subdistrict. Police from Banglamung Police Station, along with volunteer rescue teams, were promptly dispatched to the scene. The Pattaya News team joined the rescue teams at the site of the incident.
At the location, authorities found Mr. Weeraphon Thongmee, 42, critically injured with two stab wounds to his abdomen. Rescue personnel provided immediate first aid before rushing him to a nearby hospital. His wife and five-year-old daughter were present, visibly distraught and crying as they stayed close to the injured man.
According to the victim’s wife, the couple had visited a karaoke bar near their residence earlier that night. She admitted to a verbal altercation with her husband on their way home but denied any physical violence between them. She claimed to have no knowledge of who attacked her husband and quickly alerted authorities after the incident.
Police remain skeptical of the account and have deployed an investigative team to review CCTV footage in the area to determine the cause of the assault. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
